About Daily's World

Daily's World rests on one idea: whoever wants all the luck for themselves ends up losing everything.

In the Kingdom of the Vimps, luck grows in the fields and can be owned. It dried up because King Vilain hides a shard that moves luck instead of creating it, and rots its bearer with greed. Daily fights to give it back, unaware he is the murdered king's son.

Players grow his casino across 25 levels. Each of the 43 collectible cards carries a fragment of the story, drawn from The Vimps: Tome 1, written by the team. In TeamWars, 50 versus 50, the same idea is played out: Daily owns no luck, his only strength is other people.

Three People, Three Continents

Michel Ndjock, 3D Director at World Wild Games

Michel Ndjock

3D Director

Michel works from Yaoundé, Cameroon. A mechatronics engineer trained at the École Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique in Douala, he came to 3D through engineering: during his studies he was already building simulations and visualisations of robots, machines and factories, first for himself, then very quickly for clients.

Nine years on, he works across two kinds of 3D. The kind that has to run in real time, where the image answers sixty times a second and how you build it matters as much as how it looks. And the kind that has nothing to compute live, where it only has to be right: objects, environments, animation, colour and light.

On Daily's World he leads all 3D and animation, from the casino to the collectible cards.

Haider Ali, Art Director at World Wild Games

Haider Ali

Art Director

Haider works from Lahore, Pakistan. A product and industrial designer by training, he came to 3D through the product design projects he took on for clients during his studies, where design and 3D modelling were already part of his education. He has been in the mobile games industry since 2019, and contributed to a wide range of games and art projects before joining World Wild Games.

What draws him to game art is that it never stays contemplative: the player sees it, handles it, comes back to it. Art directing a project means organising that encounter, balancing intent against production constraints, and choosing the best available solution rather than the most spectacular one.

On Daily's World he leads the art direction and illustrated part of the 43 card collection.

Hélie de Bernis, Technical Director at World Wild Games

Hélie de Bernis

Technical Director

Hélie works from Paris, France. In 2014, still a student, he asked a question on StackOverflow: can you build iOS apps without knowing the basics of HTML and CSS? Everyone told him no. He closed his white MacBook, walked into a specialist bookshop and bought a book on Objective-C.

It became his first language. He fell for Apple's frameworks and never left them.

Ten years later, after working as a junior, mid level and senior developer and then iOS tech lead, in startups and in large companies, he designs and builds bespoke mobile applications.

Daily's World is fully native on both platforms: SceneKit and Metal on iOS, Filament, Vulkan and OpenGL ES on Android. The same conviction, held since that first book.
