How We Work

World Wild Games is a studio of three people, each responsible for one craft: engineering, art direction, 3D.

Not three generalists with tools, but three professionals with a trade and years of practice behind them.

Their backgrounds are on our press kit page.

Each of us answers for what we deliver, and each of us decides how we get there.

Tools are a personal choice

Some of us use generative tools in our process. Others do not. That applies to code, to 3D and to images alike, and the choice belongs to the person doing the work. The studio does not impose it and does not forbid it.

Part of the card collection was drawn entirely by hand. Part of it was not. Every card is credited by name, in the game and in the gallery on this site.

What does not change

Nothing ships because a tool produced it.

Whatever the starting point, the result is reworked, corrected and approved by the specialist responsible for it, and that takes hours, sometimes days. Each of us is able to redo by hand what we deliver. A generated draft is a draft, never a deliverable.

Why

We are three people. Time saved on repetitive work goes into the parts of the game that need someone to decide.

That is the whole reason. We are not going to tell you it makes us more creative.

Other people worked on Daily's World, among them an illustrator and a composer. Nothing here is anonymous: every contribution is credited by name, in the game and on this site.
